JMC/DATECH is one of the multiple Original Equipment manufacturers of Dell Computer cooling fans. The JMC DS9238-12HBTL-A, is a Dell 3-pin, 92mm x 38mm, 12 Volt, Temperature Control fan with the Heat Sensor which is made to work in your Dell Dimension 3000 computer
If your model does not have the JMC fan, that is because Dell used multiple brand manufacturers to make the identical fan. They are the same and all compatible with your model.
Please take measurements, check for compatibility, fan application and verify fan plug configuration before making your purchase. See specifications and photos for comparison.
NOTE: Please be mindful. Some models used a 5-pin / 4-wire fan. Please check before purchasing. This fan for sale has a Dell 3-pin / 3-wire connector. Also, check the wire colors and their respective positions in the Dell 3-pin plug on your old fan compared to the new one you are contemplating on purchasing. The typical wire color order for the Dell 3-pin plug is (latch facing you) white, red and black.
However, if the white and red wires on your old fan plug are (red, white and black) reverse, then the wire positions on the new fan plug will need to be swapped out to match the old one. This was a revision from Dell on their select upgraded systems. Neglecting to make this change will result in component and system board failure. If you are unable to perform this modification, please contact us to make the change for you before shipment. There is no charge for this service.
