NAPIER DESIGNER SIGNED GOLDTONE VNTG EARRINGS have an unusual back fastener. It is both a screw back and a clip back, one places the earrings on the ear with the clip then tightens the screw back for secure fastening. Ingenious! I have not come across this style before but have read about it before this. The design is a modified crescent shape done in goldtone metal. The metal has a bit of wear. I would say this may be an early Napier piece from its overall style, components and wear.
It is signed Napier in block letters followed by a copyright symbol. This is located on the clip/screwback. The item is in good used vintage condition. Wear is noted on the inner section as well as a little on the edges.
