This special piece was inspired by a very special person. Recently, it was an honor for me to be present at a local church to witness a performance by the African Children's Choir. The choir director, a striking woman and former member who has since earned a degree in design, participated throughout the moving concert. Though I was far removed from the stage, I was struck by the beauty of everything about her, especially her jewelry. This piece is my own version, a tribute to a special person who does extraordinary work with very special children.
