CEDAR PLUGS have been around for more years than I care to remember. THEY WORK......THEY
WORK.....THEY WORK and I've CUSTOMIZED them to be EVEN BETTER fish CATCHING MACHINES.
I rig them with 7+ Feet of 150 pound clear leader and 8/0 MUSTAD 2X STRONG HOOK.
I ADDED three COLOR MATCHING DOUBLE SKIRTED T’ZERs in the CORRECT POSITIONS in FRONT of
the CEDAR JIG. EACH DOUBLE SKIRTED T'ZER is weighted CORRECTLY and placed at the CORRECT
DISTANCE from EACH OTHER AND the CORRECT DISTANCE FROM the CEDAR JIG. This makes this
rig irresistible to that hungry predator.
Predators ALL first TARGET the SMALLER bait (YOUR T’ZERs). THEN THEY ALL HOME in on YOUR CEDAR PLUG which is chasing the smaller bait to eat it! WHY????? 'Cause in the OCEAN, you are either EATING or are BEING EATEN! In this setup, the PREDATOR CEDAR PLUG appears to be eating, so it CAN'T WATCH ITS OWN TAIL, making it an easy prey.
