This is a Twin Size Platform Storage Bed. There is no box spring required. This bed can hold a maximum weight load of 250 lbs distributed evenly.

Wood Slat system is positioned lengthwise to distribute body weight evenly, minimizing the amount of motion transfer and takes the place of a traditional box spring.
