PURE ESSENTIAL OIL BLEND
You are purchasing 1 - 1/2 oz (15ml) Amber Bottle with a Sealed Euro-Dropper Cap of Acne Ease Essential Oil Skin Blend
What is Acne?
Acne is a chronic skin disorder that occurs on the face but may involve the neck, chest, back and upper arms. This condition is common during puberty due to sensitivity to the normal level of hormones in the body. This change in response causes excess production of oil from sebaceous glands which cause blocked hair follicles. Acne thus manifests itself in the form of black heads, pimple outbreaks, cysts or infected abscesses, which sometimes leads to acne scars.
THE PURE ESSENTAIL OILS USED IN THIS BLEND :
Jojoba organic is very similar in composition to human natural skin oils. It penetrates the skin rapidly to nourish it; also softens and moisturizes mature and dry skin. Jojoba helps to heal inflamed skin conditions such as psoriasis or any form of dermatitis, helps control acne and oily scalps.
1) Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil is an excellent antibacterial treatment making it an excellent acne fighter as well as a general purpose wound cleaner. It helps soothe irritations, rashes and burns, control acne and dandruff, and treat warts and other fungal infections. The healing properties of this oil make it one of the best essential oils to have in your medicine cabinet. As an acne treatment, tea tree oil is fast acting and acts to clear up the skin while calming the effected area.
2) Bergamot Oil
Bergamot oil has a revitalizing fragrance and it blends well with other oils making it an excellent addition to any acne treatment blend. Bergamot has antibacterial and drying properties making it an ideal spot treatment for existing blemishes. The citrus aroma has a calming effect on the mind and soul. Should not be used full strength except on the advice of a licensed homeopathic professional.
3) Clove Oil
Clove oil is a very potent essential oil that has burning and purifying properties. In its pure form it is very irritating and should be blended with a skin friendly carrier oil (like grapeseed oil) before being applied to the skin. Some devotees use it full strength as a spot treatment for stubborn acne, but this is not generally advised. When diluted, clove oil can be applied to the skin to treat emerging or existing breakouts. It is very strong and acts very quickly. Should not be used full strength except on the advice of a licensed homeopathic professional.
4) Lavender Oil
Lavender oil has well known antibacterial and soothing properties. It is excellent as a preventative acne treatment that effectively stops future breakouts while clearing the redness often associated with acne prone skin. Lavender oil is very strong and should be diluted prior to application on the skin. Should not be used full strength except on the advice of a licensed homeopathic professional.
5) Patchouli Oil
Patchouli has been used extensively in Asian medicine, apperaring in the Chinese, Indian and Arabic traditions. The oil is widely employed as a fragrance and,in India, as an insect repellent. Patchouli is used in herbal medicine in Asia as an aphrodisiac, antidepressant and antiseptic. It is also employed for headaches and fever. Patchouli essential oil is used in aromatherapy to treat skin complaints. It is thought to have a regenerative effect on skin tone and to help clear conditions such as eczema and acne. The oil may also be used for varicose veins and hemorrhoids.
Never:
• Squeeze pimple, blemish, or pustules. Doing this spreads infection and damages delicate tissues that might cause scarring.
• Try to keep hands away from the face. Touching the skin with unclean hands can introduce germs and dirt that might trigger acne or blemishes.
Special Precaution: Avoid exposure to the sun for at least 12 hours after applying this oil since bergamot is a phototoxic oil.
Directions: Roll the bottle to gently mix the oils for a minute or two. Apply a small amount to the face, neck or back using a Q-Tip or cotton ball, be certain to avoid the eyes, lips, nostrils and inside the ears.
***NOTE*** - All of the oils used in this blend are from pure uncut therapuetic grade essential oils and are hand blended personally by myself, I make no claims or warranties to the effectiveness of this blend for persons other then myself!
