~ A beautiful vintage pre-WWII German Easter egg candy container
~ Of unmarked manufacture
~ Unusual image of a charming duck in a bonnet on each half
~ Carrying a basket of eggs and an umbrella
~ Made from paper / papier mache strips applied over molded cardboard
~ Red Dresden ric rac trim on the exterior edges
~ Interior has clover or floral lining with paper lace trim on one half
~ Contains what appears to be the original grass
~ Note --- The red ric rac trim on lower half is partially glued beneath the edge
~ It is possible it may have been re-glued at some point (See Photos)
~ Images remain crisp and colorful
~ Overall about 4-1/2 in long x 3 in wide
