Hand Painted Jewelry ~ This unique vintage lacquer wood pin is a pretty, feminine piece. The background color is glossy black and the pansy flower is detailed in gold and mauve. The pin is a mixed medium technique, but hard to tell, that the gold areas are appliqued and the mauve accents are hand painted. The flower has a nice, artistic and well crafted dimensional look. This pin is a petite size at 1 5/8" long x 1 1/4" wide. This piece was hand made and is not signed, but it is not new and most likely dates from the 1960's. It has the original fine working safety clasp and the whole piece is in like new condition with no wear, scratches, or other imperfections.
