Tar soap is a natural hygienic and therapeutic and prophylactic agent, the main active component of which is birch tar (usually about 10% of the total composition). It has a specific pungent odor, a dark brown color, and is known for its powerful antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and antifungal properties. Useful properties Fighting acne and pimples: Tar deeply cleanses pores, normalizes the work of the sebaceous glands, and dries up inflammation. Help with dermatological problems: Used as an adjuvant in the treatment of psoriasis, eczema, seborrhea, demodicosis, and various types of dermatitis. Skin healing: Accelerates the regeneration of epidermal cells, helps small wounds, cracks on the heels, and abrasions heal faster. Scalp care: Helps get rid of dandruff, reduces itching, and strengthens hair follicles, preventing hair loss. How to use For the face: Lather soap in your palms, apply foam to problem areas of the skin, leave for 20–30 seconds (for a deep effect, up to several minutes) and rinse with warm water. Be sure to apply a moisturizer, as soap dries the skin. For hair: Apply the foam only to the scalp and roots of the hair, without distributing it along the entire length, so as not to overdry the ends. Rinse with room temperature water (not hot). Regularity: For the treatment of problem skin, use 1–2 times a day for up to 1 month. For prevention and normal skin, it is enough to use 1–2 times a week.
