Several factors play a role in eye health. These include a good supply of nutrients. The body cannot produce these vitamins and trace elements itself – they must therefore be regularly supplied through food.
The Eye Plus Vision+Protection+Tear Film Formula from Doppelherz System contains selected vitamins and trace elements and polyunsaturated fatty acids in two types of capsules.
Capsule 1 contains vitamins A, C, E, B12 and B6, the omega-3 fatty acid DHA, and the trace elements selenium and zinc. It also contains the plant compounds lutein and zeaxanthin.
Capsule 2 contains a lipid combination of polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids from marine fish oil with the omega-6 fatty acid gamma-linolenic acid from borage oil, as well as the water-soluble vitamin B2 and the fat-soluble vitamins D and E.
Vitamin A, vitamin B2 (riboflavin), and zinc contribute to the maintenance of normal vision . Vitamin A and vitamin B2 (riboflavin) contribute to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes . Zinc contributes to normal vitamin A metabolism . DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal vision . This beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 250 mg DHA. Vitamin B6 contributes to the normal function of the nervous system . Vitamin B6 contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism . Vitamin B12, vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin B6, and vitamin C contribute to normal energy metabolism . Vitamin B12 and vitamin D have a role in cell division . Zinc, selenium, vitamin C, vitamin B2, and vitamin E contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Application
The daily dose consists of 2 different capsules.
Take capsule 1 and capsule 2 once daily with a meal (e.g., breakfast or lunch) with sufficient liquid, without chewing.
