The motor is a silent high torque, it does not tick or step gear, it is a quiet continuous motor.' 9/16" threaded shaft, total 15/16" including hand stem.

The motor case is 2-1/8" sq x 5/8" thick with 5/16" diameter threaded shaft.

Shaft length is a brass threaded portion that must pass through your clock face, leaving a couple of threads to mount the retaining nut.
(ex., if working with a 1/4" tile as your clock face....then order a 7/16" or 9/16" threaded shaf
