You get two discrete overdrive circuits that can be used independently or together. The 'Durple' side is based on the original Durple pedal, emphasising low to mid-gain with fairly flexible EQ. The 'Double' side is actually a modded version of the Tone City Blues Man, giving you classic lower gain, fat boosted drive tones.The Durple channel comes with the same Tone and Mid controls as its mini-pedal predecessor, great for on-the-fly tonal changes to work with your rig. The Double channel alternatively introduces a Smooth/Bright switch. The Smooth option opts for velvety saturation that's great for sitting in a mix or tapering high-output pickups, while the Bright setting is ideal for making those leads, riffs, and funky unison lines really stand out.
