In 1991, a business unrelated to the original Marx company acquired the rights to the name (subsequently operating under the name Louis Marx & Co., Inc.)and recast the Marx Flintstones' play set, and marketed the play set as the Marx Flintstones Collector Set Play Set Ruby Edition.
