Sandstone Falls & Rapids on the Black River, 11 miles North of Hwy #2 in Gogebic County. These falls empty into Lake Superior about two miles farther down stream. At 1/4 mile, the hike to Sandstone Falls is one of the shortest on the Black River, and it is also one of the least strenuous.
