Georges Lambert, French (1919 - 1998) was an exceptional 20th century French painter and lithographer of landscapes, seascapes and figure studies. Lambert received his education at the Academie de la Grande Chaumiere, Paris, where he studied primarily under Othon Friesz. During Lambert's career his art was exhibited internationally in countries such as Germany, Italy, France, England and the United States. Georges Lambert also contributed original lithographs to various illustrated books such as Machiavelli's The Prince.
