Description: Here's a nice "vintage" L.L. Bean River Duffle Bag that's never been used. It's made from a nylon or vinyl material which is waterproof, at least as far as normal exposure to rain or splashing water. However, the top has a flap closure which is not sealed and thus would not prevent water penetration if the bag was fully submerged.
The bag has multiple straps and buckles, permitting it to be hand carried or used as a backpack.
Size: Large: approx. 26" x 44"
Age: Originally purchased in 1983.
Condition: NOS. This bag has never been used, has been stored rolled up in its original shipping box for 40+ years, and is in excellent condition. There's just a bit of what appears to be decomposed rubber bands on the upper portion of the bag and the inside of the box from rubber bands that were likely used when the bag was originally rolled and boxed.
