Antique German black forest hunter cuckoo clock. Circa 1910's. Two songs, Daisy Bell ( Bicycle Built for Two ) written in 1892 and another familiar song, but I havent identified the song, zither player and cuckoo bird. 21 inches from the top of the antlers to the bottom of the bag. Bonnet 14 inches wide. Fully functional. Recently serviced and restored. Keeps accurate time. One song plays on the hour, the other on the half hour. Gong strikes the counts out the hour as the cuckoo sound counts out the hour, then the zither player comes out and the song plays. On the half hour, the gong strikes once with the cuckoo sounding once, then the zither player comes out and the second song plays. You can switch the song by pulling a string inside one of the side doors. This is a one day clock. Pick up is probably the best way to purchase the clock. $1500. Cash, goldback notes or money order.
