Woodland is a textile box in autumnal harris tweed. This keepsake box is perfect for keeping jewellery items safe on a bedside table, as a unique and original gift, or simply as a place to store your watch overnight.
The main body of the box outer is made from a remnant of harris tweed in orange, green and browns. The lid is made from a handmade felt, which has then been machine embroidered with random textures. Two toadstools have then been hand embroidered onto this in co-ordinating coloured threads, using backstitch and french knots to add texture.
The box is fully lined in wool felt in a co-ordinating burnt orange. The lid does not fasten, but is instead weighted closed with two large handmade glass beads.
The handmade nature of this item means it has a rustic, raw edge look, with pokey out threads and fuzzy edges. This is entirely deliberate and is not a fault. Please ensure you are happy with the finish by checking the photographs carefully before you purchase.
