RARE Antique Nippon Morimura Hand Painted Fine Japanese Porcelain Tea Cup and Saucer 4 piece Set
Antique RARE Nippon made by the Morimura Brothers Japan hand painted porcelain tea cup and saucer 2 sets (two tea cups and two matching saucer plates as shown) marked Hand-Painted Nippon. They have a beautiful decorative textured moriage outline floral design border with metallic gold trim. According to this particular Nippon stamp, this dates between 1911-1921 making it over 100 years old.
Size: Saucer is 5 3/4” in diameter
Cup is 4” in diameter and app 2 1/8” in height
Brand: M in the center of the Nippon wreath design indicates this set to be made by the Morimura Bros in Japan and this back stamp was used circa 1911-1921.
Color: White multi
Material: Glazed hand painted ceramic porcelain
Vintage Condition: One teacup has a small minor chip on rim and the other cup has a faint hairline crack. No other flaws to note. Design is flawless and surfaces are clean.
