Summary: MG Cars are British automotive marque founded by Cecil Kimber in the 1920s and M.C. Car Co. Limited was the British sports car manufacturer. These do-it-yourself Workshop Manual have been written for the owner who wishes to maintain his car. Comprehensive step-by-step instructions and illustrations are given on all dismantling, overhauling and assembling operations. Between 1930 and 1972 the marque became well known.
*Book 1 includes chapters on the Engine, Fuel System, Ignition System, Cooling System, Clutch, Gearbox, Propeller Shaft/Rear Axle/Rear Suspension, Front Suspension and Hubs, Steering Gear, Brakes/Wheels and Tyres, Electrical Equipment, Bodywork, Appendix, Index.
*Book 2 includes chapters on the Engine, Carburetters and Fuel System, Ignition System, Cooling System, Clutch, Gearbox and Overdrive, Propeller Shaft/Rear Axle/Rear Suspension, Front Suspension, Steering Gear, Braking System, Electrical System, Bodywork, Appendix, Index.
Condition: Both volumes are a hardcover which is covered with a plastic covering. Both covers show some wear – one has a corner tip tore off, two the cover has a torn seam on the front corner bottom and along back cover edge seam. Both covers show some soiling and have a few soiled spots. One has some edge soiling on the bottom page edges and all outer edges show a hint of dust soiling. Text is sound and clean in both volumes.
