Pelargonium cotyledonis, also known as Old Father Live Forever or Hollyhock-leaved Pelargonium, is native to Saint Helena Islands in the South Atlantic Ocean. Belonging to the Geraniaceae family, this succulent is a perennial plant, sparsely branched. It grows up to a height of 30 cm under cultivation and up to 1 meter in its natural habitat. For most of the year, the plant has no foliage. During the summer season, loose rosettes spring up. The Pelargonium cotyledonis bears white flowers in the summer season which is the flowering season. This perennial plant is not frost-hardy, is summer dormant, and is slow-growing. It needs full morning sun exposure and light shade for the best growth.
