It's best direct sow them anytime from in spring when your soil temperature reaches 70 degrees during the day. These seeds are very tiny so if direct seeding it's best to use the shaker method where you mix your seeds with 1/4 cup of dry sand and use an old spice shaker (that's clean), or other container with holes in it, to evenly disperse your seeds.
