Cornus florida RED FLOWERING DOGWOOD Seeds FJ

Up for bid are seeds of Cornus florida ‘Red’. It is a beautiful tree to 25’+ that gets green leaves and nice deep pink (or as close to red as can be found) bracts and tiny yellows flowers (the “flowers” that most people see on Dogwoods are actually bracts, and the actual flowers are tiny and yellow and they are in the center of the bracts) in spring. These beautiful plants are hardy to USDA zone 4 or possibly colder with protection. As with many specialty varieties, there can be a degree of variance in the seeds, and you may get plants with varying characteristics. They would make excellent additions to your rare plant collection, or just make a unique statement in your yard.
