Sabal minor McCurtain COLD HARDY DWARF PALMETTO Seeds FJ

Up for bid are seeds of the McCurtain Hardy Dwarf Palmetto. This beautiful US native palm gets great green fan shaped foliage. These beautiful plants grow best in full sun to full shade, in dry or wet soil, and they are hardy to zone 6b, possibly to zone 6a or even into zone 5b with heavy protection! These are from plants that were grown from seeds from some of the northern most natural occurring stands of this palm in McCurtain county Oklahoma. I have been hoping to have enough of these seeds to share for several years and I finally have enough to sell, but my supplies are limited. This is one of the most cold hardy species of palm available, although also be sure to check out my other ads for a few extra cold hardy forms of this species as well as numerous other hardy palm species. They would make excellent additions to your rare plant collection, or just make a unique statement in your yard.
