THE FRIGATE CONSTELLATION
BALTIMORE, MARYLAND
Completed in Baltimore, Sept. 7, 1797, the first ship of the U. S. Navy is shown at her new berth at Pier 1, Pratt Street, after the recent addition of fighting tops and shrouds. The Constellation served as flagship of the Atlantic fleet during World War II and participated in every American War except the Revolution and Vietnamese Conflict.
The standard sized chrome postcard is in Very Good postally unused condition. The card was published by David E. Traub, 2313 South Road, Baltimore, Md. 21209. The number DT-101 is printed on the lower center back.
