One of the BEST comfort food cookbook collections you could have are ALL the cookbooks from the PILLSBURY BAKE OFF series that started back in 1949!

THIS hard cover cookbook is a collection of favorite dessert recipes and was published in 1976--a 3rd edition (first edition was published in 1968.
This cookbook is in very good used condition for its age with minimal wear to the covers and edges from reading and re-shelving. INSIDE the pages are at least 99% free of any marks, stains or writing--the only thing I could find was a price in red marker on the first blank page of the book. A little foxing (browning) to the edges of the pages from age. Two pages have a crease from the top to the bottom edges of the pages due to a hasty re-shelving.
The book has 144 pages including index.
With winning dessert recipes, this cookbook is filled with those from scratch comfort food recipes that your mother or grandmother made for the family! YUMMY!
Chapters cover recipes for: Sauces & Toppings, Desserts Warm from the oven, Family Dessert Favorites, Pies & Pastries, Pastry Hints, Fruit Pies, Custard Pies, Meringue Pies, Chilled Pies, Make-Ahead Pies and Desserts.
