Description: Here's a very pretty embossed antique postcard with a somewhat nautical theme showing a woman poling a skiff across a river or pond. The central image is framed by a braided rope and there's a life preserver ring at the upper right that reads "GREETINGS". At the bottom is printed "ALL GOOD WISHES". In the lower left corner are the initials "J.E.P." above a copyright symbol. At the lower left corner is the name James E. Pitts, who I presume is the artist and/or publisher of the card.

The back identifies the card as "SERIES 62 A".

Size: approx. 3½" x 5½"

Date: Not dated.

Condition: Very good, I'd say. The card is unused, but has slightly worn edges and appears to have some mild toning on both front and back from storage in a standard postcard album. (Please see scans.)
