Fender stratocaster
Yngwie J. Malmsteen owned and played a custom-made 1968 reissue stratocaster. In 2006, Yngwie Malmsteen retired all of his vintage guitars from touring. After recording "Perpetual Flame" in 2007 with his favorite 1968 maple top, he asked Fender to "clone" the vintage '68 so he could go on tour with a guitar that would look, play and sound exactly the same. This is that guitar. It's identical in every way: neck profile, body shape and weight, everything. This is unique. It is currently in Yngwie's private collection.
