The Texas Everbearing fig yields a nearly seedless, medium, brown-skinned fruit with deep burgundy pulp. This variety is similar to the Brown Turkey fig. Anticipate a heavy first crop.
• Average mature height: 30-40 feet
• Ripens: First Crop ripens late May to late June. The second ripens September through early November.
• Self-pollinating? Yes
• Soil: Well drained. Will not tolerate excessively wet soil, but needs ample moisture during fruiting.
• Light: Full sun. Does best when it receives full sun for a good portion of the day.
• Zones: 8-10
For live plants, we can't send them to Alaska and Hawaii. If the order has already been placed, we will cancel it.
