Carpet Sedum (Sedum lineare f. variegatum) is a beautiful compact mounding sedum. The leaves are star shaped and are a silver, white, and light green. Very unique! It produces a small yellow flower and is quite easy to maintain. It prefers to be in dry soil.
It works as a ground cover, in a hanging basket, in mixed arrangements, fairy gardens, or even rock gardens!! This plant is suitable for xeriscaping. It does well in high heat, humidity, droughts, full or part sun. They spread like a creeping ground cover. Can be kept outside year round in zones 7-11 or used as in indoor houseplant.
