llanite pendant

Llanite is named after a Llano Texas. A rhyolite with inclusions of blue quartz (a rare quartz color) and perthitic feldspar (light grayish-orangeish).

This Llanite pendant was hand cut and shaped, then tumble polished. It is slightly domed on both sides with a 2.5mm hole drilled front to back and strung on a cord with sliding knots so it can be adjusted from 15" to 28" in length.
