But as landscape tree, also in groupings for entrance ways or focal points. It can be planted almost anywhere in the U.S. The species is valued for its relatively rapid growth, tolerance of wetness and sum drought, unique curling bark and spreading limbs. Grows 40-70' in height with 40-60' spread. Hardy in zones 4-9
