Schisandra Berries are naturally tart. The Chinese refer to schizandra tonic as the "five-flavored seed" because it tastes sour, bitter, sweet, acrid and salty. This berry is proported to help the skin and promote mental function.
Recommended Brew: Use 1 tsp for every 6oz hot water (170-180F). Let steep 6 minutes. OR, try it iced for a refreshing blend by doubling the amount of tea used and adding ice after brewing is complete.
