Movie based on the best-selling book of the same title about Bridget Smith Michaels, a woman who remarries after the death of her first husband is ruled accidental. Her seemingly idyllic second marriage crashes when her new husband Ron realizes that they are deeply in debt due to his wife's unchecked spending and deceptive dealings with the bank. As their financial problems escalate, she begins to see only one solution: her husband's life insurance policy. Based on a true story.
