Tarahumara Native Handcrafted Dolls

Authentic handcrafted folk art created by real Tarahumara Native Americans located in the Sierra Madre Mountains. The Tarahumara are an indigenous people of northern Mexico and are renowned for their long-distance running ability. Most still practice a traditional lifestyle, inhabiting natural shelters such as caves or cliff overhangs, as well as small cabins of wood or stone. These dolls can simply be used as a decorative piece or grouped together to make an authentic Folk Art display.
