This gold leatherette evening bag is an echo of times past with the ornate gold tone frame. The shape of the bag is sort of roaring twenties and the frame is reminiscent of the Victorians. The bag side frame is plain gold tone. The chain slides from handbag length to short shoulder strap. It has a kiss closing. The inside is lined in rayon or nylon twill. It is 7½ x 8 inches. The strap is 28 inches when used as a shoulder bag.

Note that the bag is very gold. It has picked up a pinkish tinge from the cloth behind it. The condition is not quite mint. The corners of the leatherette have just the slightest wear if you are examining them closely and the kiss knobs have lost a bit of their glow. But nothing that can detract from the panache of this bag. Although this is a vintage bag, it is also a reproduction of an earlier era. It is neither Victorian nor Roaring 20s.
