Broad Bean Pink Karmazyn is an unusual new variety with pink seeds delivering excellent flavour and high yields. The plants
are relatively compact and robust making it suitable even for the more exposed sites. The pods are best picked when young making the beans more tender and faster to cook which better retains the colour. Height 60cm. Cultivation Advice Broad Bean Pink Karmazyn

Sow from Feb – May in an open sunny site preferably on ground which has been manured for a previous crop.
Sow in double rows 7cm (2in.) deep, 14cm (6in.) apart in the row. Space the double rows 23cm (9in.) apart and leave a distance of 35-45cm (15-20in.) before the next set of double rows.
Keep free of weeds.
Pinch out the tops of the plants as soon as four clusters of bloom are showing.
Harvest the beans when the pods are fat and the seed still young & soft.
