Now it is referred to as Atomic or "Googie" styling, but it was quite normal and not outrageous - at the time it was simply 'modern' design! This eye-catching lamp has a light up base which could be used as a night light! When lit it draws the eyes to an iconic black and gold geometric pattern of triangles and lines! Clean mid-century styling! Very good condition! Minor wear to enamel, glass and shade. Base or top can be lit independently by the socket switch. Works perfectly and displays beautifully!
