Your lawn will grow at 2X the rate compared to seed alone (when applied at new lawn rates, proper care is required). Can be used for seeding new or existing lawns. Fast Grass Tall Fescue Mix grows a lush green lawn in just a few weeks. Grass seed germinates best when temperatures are between 60°F and 80°F and there is no danger of frost, usually in the fall and spring. When applying, rake the top layer of soil before applying with a spreader. For best results, water twice daily for at least 3 weeks. One 16 lb. bag will cover 5,280 sq. ft. of existing lawn and 1,760 sq. ft. when planting a new lawn. Do not apply weed control products until the lawn is established (mowed at least 4 times). If you have already applied herbicides, refer to those package directions for when to plant grass seed.
