With the Metallica Limited Edition Manual Three-Speed Turntable from Pro-Ject Audio Systems, fans can show their devotion to the legendary heavy metal band, and enjoy exceptional audio fidelity from their vinyl. The solid mirror-finished MDF plinth screams "metal" and is uniquely shaped into the Metallica "Ninja Star" logo, which is made from the "M" of the iconic band's main logo. The heavy glass platter lets you fully take in the plinth, and works with it and the aluminum sub platter to deliver zero resonance and accurate playback of your vinyl.
To further reduce feedback from creeping into your vinyl playback, the Ninja Star plinth is supported by a trio of height-adjustable damped aluminum feet. Connected to the aluminum sub platter is a belt-driven motor with an electronic speed control that's capable of spinning at 33 1/3, 45, and 78 rpm via a toggle switch. Outside of the speed control, you have full manual control over playback, with an 8.6" S-shaped tonearm that comes fitted with a detachable SME headshell and a pre-adjusted Pro-Ject Pick it S2 C MM cartridge.
