A backyard winner! The Improved Meyer Lemon has dark green, shiny leaves with white-purple, fragrant flowers. The fruit is yellow and rounder than a true lemon. Meyer lemon fruits have a sweeter, less acidic flavor than the more common Lisbon or Eureka supermarket lemon varieties. It is actually a cross between a cold-hardy tangerine and a lemon.
