WHAT YOU GET: One freshly dug, 12 inch bamboo rhizome root cutting with active buds and sprouted with leaves. You will get similar rhizomes like the sample photo but keep in mind, no rhizomes will not look the same. We guaruntee each rhizome to be at least 12 inches with active buds and sprouted with leaves. We do not ship rhizomes from "last season". We extract each rhizome freshly from the ground per order and we NEVER pre-package. We ship each rhizome with moist newspaper inside a plastic bag and wrapped with tape so the moisture is retained until you receive your rhizome. The display photos you see of mature bamboo are merely an example of what the specific bamboo variety will look like upon full maturity.
