To the surprise of some people when the Bald Cypress is planted on the right soil in yards or along streets it does quite well and is a beautiful specimen tree. It has been grown successfully in cites as far north as Milwaukee and on the dry Texas hills. Hardy in zones 4-10. Pyramidal shaped, 50-70' height and 25' spread at maturity. Does well in various soils with full sun exposure
