Vintage Tiered Black Tidbit Serving Tray Couroc of Monterey EUC Perched Owls Autumn Halloween USA
Description: Vintage Tiered Black Tidbit Serving Tray Couroc of Monterey EUC Perched Owls. Great for Autumn and Halloween decor. Made in the USA.
Condition: Excellent vintage pre-owned condition. Some minor wear from use. Please examine pictures closely and ask any questions before purchase. I'd be happy to take more pictures and email them to you at your request.
Couroc of Monterey was founded by Guthrie Courvoisier in Monterey, California in 1948. They produced resin trays and other serving pieces. Their primary material used was a proprietary formula of phenolic resin Guthrie developed with the help of his wife, Moira Wallace, and named Couroc. The name is an amalgamation of Courvoisier and rock, implying that Couroc is hard as rock. Moira oversaw design and gathered together a group of like-minded artists to help her creations come to life using “found” items such as paperclips and springs along with shells and other items they beach-combed to make the amazing inlays.
Will ship unassembled for easier and safer shipping.
