10005

*Suggestion*: When you receive the dormant caudex, use dry and breathable soil, plant it with the top half of the caudex exposed to the air. Water it when the soil is dry. DO NOT OVERWATER, allow soil to dry completely between watering. They like bright, INDRIECT light and good humidity. They will start to wake up in fall. Once you see growth, make sure not to place your plant in direct sunlight. Dioscorea elephantipes is primarily a winter grower and might remain No Leaves until fall. When temperature is above 85 F, plants go into hibernation. Dormancy is when the beautiful leaves turn yellow and wither, leaving only the dry tuber. Don’t think of the plant as dead. In fall, Dioscorea elephantipes gradually begins to wake up.
