This 8CH DVR is a full MPEG-4 model. It uses MPEG-4 compression on recording and remote viewing. It can accommodate up to 3 HDDs, or 2 HDDs and a independent disk array to extend recording time (CPD535 & CPD537 only). For quick backup, a DVD writer and USB interface are all built-in. Using client software to backup video remotely is also avaliable. Besides, this MPEG4 DVR has many advanced features, such as independent remote live viewing, R.E.T.R. (remote event trigger recording) and graphical multilingual OSD.
