This B&W Infrared photo imparts a sense of mystery and calm to this beautiful courtyard located at the site of the famed Alamo Mission located in historic San Antonio Texas. History was made here --- Texas was an independent nation before it chose to become a part of the United States.
It is hard to imagine what it must have been like here on this field of battle as our forefathers struggled to obtain a freedom which they had come to Texas to enjoy.
It is not hard to imagine that the likes of Travis or Crockett strode upon this very ground --- which today is a peaceful and beautiful tribute to the defenders of the Alamo
