This is an old used copy of Sargasso Of Space By Andre Norton. It has some wear and spinal creasing. All the pages are there and it is in good shape. It is the 1978 edition. In this book Dane Thorsen is a new graduate from what is essentially Space Academy and is assigned to a Free Trader ship as an assistant cargo master. He and the others on the ship manage to "win" trade rights to a partially burned off world (think nuclear war on planetary scale). They run into pirates, alien technology of the ancient variety, down trodden aliens of the current variety and all kinds of fun things.
