Unless... William P. Jeffery Dodd, Mead and Company 1975
Author: William P. Jeffery, Jr.
Title: Unless...
Format: Hardcover
Publisher: Dodd, Mead and Company 1975
Size: 5.25 x 7.6 inches * 64 pages
Synopsis: Dust jacket blurb - "Disturbed by his visit to a church-run school for handicapped children in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, American businessman William Jeffery wrote this small shocking book on the population problem.
Directed primarily at an audience still young enough to affect the future, UNLESS charts a world which on the day Christ died contained 250 million people. But now, only 1974 years later, holds 4 billion. With a total of 7 billion expected by the year 2000. How has this happened? Can life as we know it possibly survive? And what should be done now?
Some readers will be upset by Mr. Jeffery's thesis. Others will be disturbed by his proposals. But none will be unmoved by his warning."
Overall Condition: This book is in very good shape considering that it has been around since 1975 .The boards are intact and clean. The binding is tight and the pages are clean and unmarked except for the author's signature and inscription.
The dust jacket is very intact but it is not perfect. A picture is worth 1000 words so be sure to look at the ones I'm including; more images upon request.
A google search prior to listing this book did not produce anything regarding this first edition in its green dust jacket; nothing on ABE or Ebay makes me think it's not readily available for some reason.
2026--U.S. shipping for this (One Pound Media Mail) is $4.47 with tracking.
Multiple items will be combined for the lowest shipping price.
International Shipping cost is based on the destination so inquire before buying. Mobile users must scroll to the bottom and click on 'use desktop site' to bring up the Ask a Question link which sends me an email.
(PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE MAKING ANY PAYMENT FROM OUTSIDE THE U.S.)

Just about all the books are USED books. Some have been used more gently than others. Some have been in libraries and have typical library extras. Some are so old and/or interesting that they are being offered for the sake of preservation regardless of the condition they are in. If the condition of the book is very important to you, please feel free to click the 'Ask seller a question' link and I will tell you more.
