The Creative Grids Alaska Ruler, designed by Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts, cuts a multitude of shapes in a variety of sizes. Cut 45 degree wedges, diamonds, squares and half-square triangles all with the same ruler! The instructions include how to make a basic kaleidoscope block as well as an Alaska block in four different sizes, from 9 to 16-inches. The ruler slides easily over the fabric until pressure is applied. Then, our exclusive gripper holds the fabric in place while cutting, eliminating slipping and miss-cuts!

The Creative Grids Alaska Ruler is a handy tool for cutting various shapes. It slides easily over fabric and is very versatile. However, the initial learning curve to use it effectively was a bit steep. Overall, it’s a good addition for quilting enthusiasts.

The Creative Grids Alaska Ruler is really easy to handle. I love that it cuts multiple shapes without any hassle. The grip works well, holding the fabric in place while I’m cutting, which makes it so much easier to get precise edges.
